RMS Chhina Leads BJP’s ‘Tiranga Yatra’ at Attari-Wagha Border

Amritsar, August 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – To mark the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign by the Bhartiya Janata Party, senior leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today led the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ at the border towns of Attari and wagha. Joined by party leaders and workers, the participants carrying the Tricolours in hands, chanted the slogans of Vande Matram, Hindustan Zindabad near Indo-Pak border.

            The Yatra that started from Attari’s main markets paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters and before it culminated at Wagha. Chhina said the whole nation today is engulfed in the spirit of celebrations and tri-colour is being hoisted by the householders too.

            “We want to make celebrations as a people’s movement to express their love for the motherland. The 75 years of Independence is a proud moment for the nation and we all must celebrate it”, said he adding that he was thankful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah who have made these events as biggest celebrations of all the times.

            He was joined by party leaders Sushil Devgan, Gurpreet Singh Mintu and hundreds of workers who said such Yatras are being carried out throughout the state of Punjab and they were happy that the people were coming in large numbers to support events celebrating our 75 years of freedom.
