DAV School held Candle March against the brutal terror attack on the innocent children in PAK

Amritsa, Dec. 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  DAV Public School, Lawrence Road  held a candle light march today to mark its solidarity with the people of Pakistan against the brutal terror attack on the innocent children of a military school in Peshawar. A peace prayer was held for the departed souls followed by two  minute silence. Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra Principal BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road , Amritsar and the Manager of the school Dr. K. N Kaul OSD DAV University , Jalandhar called it a horrendous act and condemned it in the strongest possible terms. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school, expressing her heartfelt sorrow, called the incident heartbreaking and a cowardly act against the very spirit of humanity, shaking the people of conscience . She  stressed on the importance of peace education for peaceful co–existence to prevail.
