51th Convocation of Saroop Rani Government College for Women organised

Amritsar, April 16 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The 51th Convocation of Saroop Rani Government College for Women was organised today under the leadership of Principal Prof. Dr. Daljit Kaur to award degrees to the candidates of batch 2020-21. Dr. lnderbir Singh Nijjar Cabinet Minister Local Bodies Punjab the chief guest of the occasion was welcomed and led in an academic procession to the auditorium of the college. In the beginning the principal read the annual report of college in which various achievements and glories of the institute were highlighted upon. The principal owed these laurels to the highly skilled and innovative faculty and the learner oriented education provided in the college. A total of 580 graduates were awarded degrees. In his address, the chief guest congratulated the awardees and urged them keep their minds open for the holistic development of their personality. A cultural programme prepared by the students of Music and Dance departments graced the occasion. The programme ended with the recitation of National Anthem. Ms. Kiranjit Bal and Ms. Manjeet Kaur were the overall incharge of the function.
