Amritsar, Dec. 27 (Manjit Kaur) – A huge Nagar Kirtan commemorating the Parkash  Purab of  Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the founder of Akal Purakh Ki Fauj,  started in the morning  from Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, G. T Road with the Ardaas performed by Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh who also laid stone foundation of “Dashmesh Bhawan” an Administrative Block of Chief Khalsa Diwan. S. Charanjit Singh Chadha, President CKDCS  commented that going to be constructed Dashmesh Bhawan will be equipped with all ultra modern infra structure including Lift facility also. He also presided the huge Nagar kirtan where a large number of students and teachers from all schools and college of CKD , Sikh Scholars and other social personalities took part in it. The Nagar Kirtan was led by Panj Piyaras followed with Tableaus of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, Gatka parties, Kirtan parties and band teams from different schools. There was a Karwan of four wheeler singing hymns on the way. The atmosphere was filled with spirituality and the Bhagti Ras enthralled all. Nagar Kirtan was  accomplished at golden Temple where everyone was served langar. Refreshment  stalls were installed in the school and enroute. Principal/ Director Dr. Dharam Veer Singh while welcoming the saadh sangat threw light on life of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh applauded the efforts of Chief Khalsa Diwan in the field of education and religion. He also wished more prosperity and progress to Chief Khalsa Diwan and its institutes.  Other dignitaries present on the occasion were Resident President Nirmal Singh, Hon. Sec. Narinder Singh Khurana, Harminder Singh, Santokh Singh Sethi, Gurbaksh Singh, Dalip Singh, S. Dhanraj Singh, S. Tajinder Singh Sardar Pagri House, S. Sarabjit Singh, S. Manmohan Singh,  Pritpal Singh Sethi, Jaspal Singh and other CKD Personalities.
