Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal pays tribute to martyrs at Ferozepur Memorials 

 Amritsar, Mar. 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Late evening a 100 people Team of NGO Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal & Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh Foundation, paid tribute to Martyrs Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev & Batukeshwar Dutt at their memorials at Hussainiwala Border (Ferozepur). Spearheaded by NGO’s Founder Jitender Singh Shunty, President, Hanuman Lakhotia & Ladies Wing President- Manjeet Kaur Shunty, the initiative was named as ‘Sadbhwana Yatra” Delhi to Ferozepur which came as the annual drive of NGO, and also considering the social unrest in the society. The route of the Yatra also includes Amritsar, where the participants will also visit the Jalianwala bagh, Wagha Border and The Golden Temple before going to Ferozepur.

The ‘Sadbhwana Yatra” Delhi to Hussainiwala Border is NGO’s efforts every year to organize this educational and historical tour to bring awareness in the society about nationalism and keeping alive the patriots who laid down their lives for India’s freedom. “The Yatra is an initiative of the NGO where we take this tour every year to educate people about the sacrifice of Martyrs like Bhagat Singh and others who laid down their lives for the nation. It builds up an atmosphere of Patriotism when so many people, singing Rang De Basanti Chola…. with tricolors in Hands, evoking patriotism, lead the way to a destination where we pay our homage to the greatest Martyrs of the nation. I thank the local authorities for all the support for this noble cause and also congratulate all the participants for being a part of this National cause.” Said the founder Jitender Singh Shunty.
