Outstanding Performance by DAV Students in 9th International Maths Olympiad

Amritsar, Aug. 10 (Punjab Post Burea) – Students of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, have proved their talent with their outstanding performance in 9^th International Maths Olympiad.

Adit Sood of Std IV made the school proud by achieving 11^th International rank , 2^nd Zonal Rank. He received a Gold  Medal and cash prize of Rs.5000/-.Vandit Khanna Std VIII also brought laurels to the school by securing Ist Zonal rank, 7st International rank. He also received a Gold Medal and cash prize of Rs.5000/-.

Other students who performed well were Sarthak Mehta Std IV, Raveesh Gulati             Std V, Aadhit Arora Std V,  Nipun Nohria  Std 6 , Himanshu Goenka Std VIII, Tanul Manan Std VIII and Eshaan Sharma Std IX . All these students were awarded with IMO – Academic Books set and a Merit Certificate.

          Regional Director Punjab Zone A  Dr. (Mrs.)  Neelam Kamra and Dr.Rajesh Kumar , Manager of the school, congratulated the students for their stupendous efforts and blessed  them  to carry on with the good work. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded the students and the teachers for their brilliant performance and said that hard work always pays so we should have faith in ourselves and give our best at all  times.
