Defence Pension Adalat and Camp organized

Amritsar, August 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Defence Pension Adalat will be held at Hyade Auditorium, Amritsar on 26 and  27 August 2016 and a Defence Pension Camp at Satkar Palace  Tarn Taran (Punjab) on  27 August 2016 for on spot redressal of grievances of Defence Pensioners drawing their pension from DPDO Amritsar/Public Sector Bank/Treasuries at Tarn Taran and its surrounding areas.  The Defence Pensioners having pension related grievance may submit their applications in triplicate to Nodal Officer, DPA Tarn Taran, Office of the DPDO Amritsar upto 19 August 2016.

The application forms can be obtainted from CSD Canteens, DSWO Office, ECHS Polyclinic and DPDO Amritsar Office.  All efforts will be made to redress pensioner’s grievances and position will be explained to them in person during the Pension Adalat. It may, however, be clarified that the proposed Pension Adalat does not have any legal connotation but is an administrative exercise towards on the spot redressal of grievances of the Defence Pensioners.
