Mr. Ravish Kumar of GNDU won the Best Poster Award

Amritsar, December 15 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Mr. Ravish Kumar Jain, Ph. D scholar working under the supervision of Prof. Atul Khanna, Department of physics of Guru Nanak Dev University has won the Best Poster Award in the International Conference on Recent Advances in Fundamental and Applied Sciences held at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara (Punjab). In his poster he presented the research work on Optical and Electrical properties of Vanadium Oxide and Molybdenum oxide. He is trying to develop coatings for windows which can control the heat radiation entering into the building to control the temperature. This will help in saving electricity consumed by ACs and heaters.
