DAV Public School conducts Investiture Ceremony

Amritsar, Aug 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV Public School Lawrence Road conducted the Investiture Ceremony for the academic year 2017–18. The student council consisting of 61 office bearers was formed. The Principal of the school, Dr. Neera Sharma and the senior faculty members conferred the badges to the newly elected office bearers of Std XII who were chosen from all the three streams on the basis of exemplary behaviour and performance in academics, sports, curricular and co–curricular activities. The newly formed student council took the oath to abide by the school rules and hold the school motto of truth and honour to high esteem. They thanked the school management and the Principal for giving them the opportunity to develop leadership skills.

Regional Director Punjab Zone – A Dr.  Neelam Karma and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students and advised them to be the role models for the rest of the school and they should carry out their duties with integrity, faith and excellence adopting firm and polite policy. Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school blessed the office bearers and delivered a motivational speech urging them to have a clear conscience while delineating their duties. They must work to the best of their abilities inspiring one and all to be the best in every possible way.
