Amritsar, Sept. 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Ms Neha Basotra who is currently doing PhD under Prof B S Chadha in the department of Microbiology has won the prestigious Bioenergy-Award for Cutting Edge Research (B-ACER) sponsored by Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF). Prof. B.S Chadha Head Department of Microbiology said that for the Internship she would be working in the area of metabolic engineering for improving the capability of bacteria to produce ethanol at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, South Dakota, USA for a period of six month.
