DAV Public School First in Web Page Designing

Amritsar, Nov. 29 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It was a matter of pride of DAV Public School Lawrence Road as students proved their mettle in IT Fete, 2017. The IT Fete was organised by Cambridge School recently. Almost 20 schools from Amritsar participated in the competition. Vidhisha Singh from Std IX and Garima Chawla from Std X bagged first position in Web Page Designing giving a tough competition to 40  other participants from Amritsar. They bagged the top slot for their creative, attractive and futuristic design. They were awarded with a trophy and certificates. Regional Director, Punjab Zone –A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated  the teachers and students for the brilliant  efforts. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school was jubilant at the performance of the girls and said that IT is the future and was happy to see girls showing interest in the field.
