Chhina Condemns Budget as Disappointing, Ignoring of Fiscal Correction

Amritsar, Mar. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Bhartiya Janata Party senior leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today termed the budget by the Congress government in the state assembly as `disappointing and directionless’. He said the budget has nothing concrete to offer for the general public as no new major project has been launched and the budget fails to address the basic requirements of fiscal correction. He said the core sector including agriculture, industry, education and health has not been focused and the allocations are nominal which will bring no respite the state’s already dwindling economy.
