Amritsar to get new circuit house in October with Rs. 23 crore

60 AC Bed rooms, conference halls, solar system, CCTVs, Dining hall key features

Amritsar, May 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The holy city would witness a state of the art circuit house with Rs. 23 crore in October this year. Deputy Commissioner Mr. kamaldeep Singh sangha said that the new circuit house would prove to be a major asset for the district as it was designed to match the religious flavor in the holy city besides providing ultra modern facilities at the venue. He said that the new circuit house having an area of 75000 sq feet would comprise 60 Bed rooms besides AC conference hall with the seating capacity of 100 people and three small meeting halls. Dining hall and welcome points would also be constructed in the circuit house, he added. He also said that for official meetings and VVIP visits, 2 separates suits would also be constructed with the facility of meeting rooms. Talking about the security arrangements, Deputy Commissioner also said that more than 100 CCTVs would also be installed at the important points in the circuit house. Fire fighting system and solar panels would also be installed, he added.
