Annual Function of Playpen and Nursery -‘Action Time’

Amritsar, Feb. 28 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The sparkling and radiant children of DAV Public School (5 Cantt Branch) presented the annual function ‘Action Time’ today. With the blessings of worthy president of DAV College managing committee Padma Shri Dr. Poonam Suri and under the guidance of principal Dr. Neera Sharma students of class’s nursery and play pen participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in two shows ie morning and evening show.

The Tiny Tots put up a wonderful show and enthralled their proud parents in a colourful display of befitting costumes .The tiny darlings sang and danced on the stage with the message of developing good habits. The well coordinated events held the audience in awe as one by one the items unfolded on the stage .The enthusiasm and energy reverberated in the entire auditorium hall with enough foot tapping and applause, doing justice to the entire show. It was a wonderful feeling watching the small kids performing on the stage .The whole audience sitting in the auditorium was mesmerized by the fabulous performance of the little ones.

The main idea of organising this function was to inculcate the moral values amongst the children like to respect and obey their family members and elders, to take care of nature.Their performance also made us aware about the benefits of healthy food. Sh Manoj Chansoria Director of Amritsar International,  Airport  was the chief  guest in the morning show and Dr. Savinder Singh, Director of Institute of  Mental  Health ,Amritsar was the chief guest of the afternoon show. Regional Officer (Punjab zone A) Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra ji and Manager of the school Dr Rajesh Kumar ji principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the children and staff for their splendid performances on the occasion . DR. neera sharma ji  also inspired and motivated the children for their better future.Chief guests encouraged and praised the children for their performances. They motivated the children to follow the right path in their lives and told the parents to spend the quality time with the children. They also guided the children to lead a virtuous life.

Ms. Anuradha Grover, in charge of DAV Public School Cantt branch and Miss Shama Sharma in charge of co-curricular activities was the motivating forces behind the whole event.
