25 Dav Students Selected in NCC Air Wing

Amritsar, May 3 (Punjab Post Bureau)  – 25 students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road were recruited in NCC Air Wing for the session 2019-21. The students were selected on the basis of Physical Test held under the supervision of Commanding Officer Wing Commander Lalit Bhardwaj. These students will undergo training for two years and learn Air Force defence techniques. They will also learn firng, flying Micro–light Air Craft of NCC and will attend a camp of ten days during these two years.

Regional Officer Punjab Zone–A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students and advised  them to undergo the training religiously as it would help chisel their personality. Dr. (Mrs.) Neera Sharma Principal of the school encouraged more students to enroll themselves in NCC. She added that NCC and NSS help shape the personality of the students in a positive way and they can contribute to the society productively.
