Jaspreet Kaur stood IIIrd in MTM IInd Sem. of  GNDU

Amritsar, Sept. 15 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The result of MTM IInd Sem of BBK DAV College for Women student  Jaspreet Kaur stood IIIrd in Guru Nanak Dev University with 78.8% & Parambir Kaur stood IVth in GNDU 78.5% marks. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Head of Department Mr. Naresh Kumar & Assistant Professor Mrs. Preeti Sharma, Mrs. Rupali & Ms. Dilkiran Kaur congratulated the students for their bright future ahead. Tourism in India is largest service industry with a contribution of 6.28% to national GDP & 8.78% of the total employment in India. This industry is expected to increase US$ 275.5 million by the 2018 at a 9.4% annual growth rate.  80% students of BBK DAV College of Tourism Department have been placed in sectors like hotel Country Inn, Golden Tulip, Travel Agency like Thomas Cook & Shaurya Travels and also in colleges like Swami Satyanand Institute of Management & Technology, Hindu College, BBK DAV College for Women, CKD Institute etc.
