Two days Sports Trials for Boys at Khalsa College from May 30

Amritsar, May 27 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Sports trials for boys will be organized at Khalsa College’s main grounds from May 30 to 31 and the selected candidates will be admitted for the session 2019-20 in the sports category, said Principal Dr. Mehal Singh.

            The trials he said will be for the athletics, basketball, boxing, cricket, fencing, gymnastics, handball, hockey, judo and archery on May 30 whereas for Karate, Kho-Kho, Pencak Silat, Volley ball, Wrestling, Wushu and Badminton the trials will be organized on May 31.

            Head of the Physical Education Department, Dr. Daljit Singh who will be directly supervising the trails and selections said that the sports department of the college has progressed leaps and bounds since its inception and the College management is always been keen in promoting the sports culture and establishing outstanding infrastructure for sports students.

            “The selected students will be provided freeships along with free boarding and lodging facilities on campus by the college”, informed Principal advising the students to get along their  original certificates and sports kit for the trials.
