DAV College won first position in Basket Ball Tournament (Girls)

Amritsar, September 14 (Punjab Post Bureau) – DAV College won first position in Basket Ball Tournament (girls) in 3^rd Youth National Games 2019 which was held at SR Government College Amritsar. During the event, College students showed an extra ordinary performance during the final competition which was held in between tamil nadu and Punjab.

            Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar congratulated Dr. B.B Yadav Head Department of Sports and Physical Education. He also applauded the achievements of sports persons for their hard striven efforts.

             While giving information about the competition, Dr. BB Yadav, Head of the Department of Sports and Physical Education said that team of College girls won first position in games. He also added that team members Shikha, kajal, Sharanjeet Kaur, Kanwaljeet kaur, Neha, Harpreet Kaur, Parampreet Kaur performed very well leaving behind the members of other competing teams. He added that teams from various states like Delhi, Haryana, Gujrat, and TamilNadu participated in the event.

            Other faculty members Dr. Vikas Bhardwaj, Dr. Sandeep, Prof. Jagjit Singh and Dr. Neeraj Gupta also congratulated all the team members for their success.
