DAV Students Bring Laurels in Quiz Competition

Amritsar, Oct. 21 (Punjab Post Bureau) – It is a matter of immense pride and joy for DAV Public School  Lawrence Road that a team comprising of Uday Thakur ( Std – XI ) and Rohan Talwar (Std–X) has bagged the First Prize in  a quiz competition ‘Canara Knowledge Champ’ organised by Canara Bank at Chandigarh. More than 150 teams from different schools of Punjab Chandigarh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh participated in it.

           The students of the school proved their mettle and were awarded the winner’s trophy, certificates and cash prize of Rs.50000. The team has also qualified for the national level which will be held in Bengaluru in November.

           Regional Officer Punjab Zone – A Dr.Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school Dr.Rajesh Kumar congratulated the students for their magnificient performance and blessed them for future endeavours.

          Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school applauded and congratulated the students for their commendable achievement. She expressed her joy and advised them to keep up their good work.
