The Physical tests at Army Recruitment Rally at Khasa cantt culminated

Amritsar, Oct 22 (Punjab Post Bureau)  -The Physical tests being conducted at Army Recruitment Rally which started on 12 Oct 2019 at Khasa cantt culminated today.  The Physical tests included 1.6km Run, 9 Feet Ditch, Beam and recording of Height, Weight, Chest measurement by independent board of officer. A total 42368 candidates have applied for various categories such as Soldier General Duty, Soldier Technical, Soldier Clerk, Soldier Nursing Assistant and Sepoy Pharma.Candidates from Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Pathankot districts screened during the rally. 

           Candidates from Amritsar I and II Tehsils were screened during last two days of the rally. The candidates participated with enthusiasm and displayed good physical standards during the rally.  

             Medical examinations for candidates who have cleared physical screening are being conducted at rally site. The medical examination shall continue to be conducted till 25 Oct 19. Admit cards are being issued to all candidates who are declared medically fit during the medical screening for Common Entrance Exam to be conducted at Army Public School, Khasa on 24 Nov 2019.

              Adequate arrangements were made at rally site to facilitate the candidates through active involvement of civil administration. Assistance from Amritsar Rural Police, Fire brigade, PWD, Health and hygine department was provided in conduct of rally. Doctors, paramedic staff and Ambulances were provided from Civil Surgeon office Amritsar.

            Candidates who have been given dates for medical examination are advised to report on time at gate no 7 of Khasa cantt.
