PFUCTO protest against Punjab Govt. today  

Amritsar, Dec 11 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A meeting of the PCCTU and GNDUTA was held at University campus to make a necessary arrangement for the Rally cum Dharna to be held on 12/12/2019 at under the banner of PFUCTO to protest against the Punjab Govt. who fails to implement the 7^th pay commission as notified by the Central Govt. and University Grant commission. Dr. Davinder Singh President GNDU teachers association told that all the states of India had implemented the 7^th pay commission in universities and colleges except Punjab Chandigarh and Himachal Pardesh. Dr. B.B Yadav Distt. President PCCTU and DR. Gurdas Singh Sekhon President DAV College Amritsar told that a large number of teachers will participate in the rally from various colleges of Guru Nanak Dev University from Amritsar, TaranTaran, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala. Dr. P.S Saini from GNDU, Dr. Malkiat Singh Virk Vice President DAV College Amritsar also attended the meeting.
