Media Fest 2014 organized at BBK DAV College for Women

Amritsar, Mar. 6 ( Punjab Post Bureau)- One day Media Fest–Different Strokes was organized by Journalism & Mass Communication department of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar on 4^th March, 2014. Students from various colleges SN College, Khalsa College for Women, Hindu College and other eminent institutions participated in the fest. It was an opportunity for students to showcase their talent and to horn their skills in various events. Students participated with great zeal in various competitions including Radio Jockey, Debate, Poster-Making. Photography street play and other events. Students with best caliber and extra ordinary performances were given prizes. Aishwariya Talwar and Dheerika Sharma were conferred with ‘Star of Media Fest’ title. Students bagged top positions like Dheerika Sharma BJMC-4^th in category of Radio Jockey, Gyatri Talwar M.Com. IV team in category of street play, Nimisha BA-III in category of photography and Akanksha BJMC-II in category of caption writing, Aishwarya Talwar, Jasleen Kaur BJMC-II in category of interview seeking were among achievers in the event. Eminent personalities with veteran skills judged the event like RJ Simran Deol, BIG FM, Mala Chawla well known artist and RJ Rahul from MY FM added charm to the event. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra congratulated the department on success of the event. She motivated students to explore their hidden talents and good luck for the future.
