
Amritsar, Sept. 30 (Manjit Kaur)- Chief Khalsa Diwan International Nursing College entered the Green Wave by celebrating Van Mahautsav by planting more than 80 trees in the college campus. Dr. Santokh Singh, Chairman CKD International Nursing College, Initiated the event by planting the first tree followed by Dr. S.S. Walia (Member Incharge), Madam Darshan Sohi (Principal), Mrs. Harleen Kaur (Vice Principal), all staff and students. The whole event was accomplished successfully under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Tarundeep Singh Ghuman, Project Administrator, SikhEco society Amritsar. He demonstrated the correct technique of Tree Plantation to students and also motivated everyone to plant trees in their lives, by emphasizing the importance of trees for environment and humans as well. Whole event took place in Chief Khlasa Diwan International Nursing College, which was started in year 2012, and within 2 years period it has successfully started 4 different courses i.e. B.Sc (Nsg, Basic) 4 years, B.Sc(N) Post basic (2 years), GNM (3.5 years) and ANM(2 Years). The establishment of this Nursing College is an important achievement for Chief Khalsa Diwan Charitable Society. The college charges very genuine fee from students without any donation.
