BBK DAV College for Women initiated the cleanliness of college campus

Amritsar, Oct. 1 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The NSS unit of BBK DAV College for Women, Lawrence Road initiated the cleanliness of college campus in the first stage of Mission Swachh Bharat by cleaning the computer labs, informed Mrs. Manbir Kaushal, Vice Principal of college. The volunteers of unit cleaned the Monitors, CPU’s, Desks, Chairs and other equipments in the labs. The unit has planned to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti by organizing a programme in this regard. They also planned to conduct awareness lectures on cleanliness. Programme Officer, Jaspreet Bedi observed that the cleanliness plan is divided in different stages for the entire action period. She further added that the drive will be expanded to the adopted village of college, Qila Jeevan Singh. Programme Officers Mrs. Surbhi and Dr. Shveta also motivated the volunteers to participate in the event wholeheartedly.
