Amritsar , Feb 23 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Taking the journey ahead in its second league in Nutan International 
Theatre Festival 2020 is scheduled to open at Virsa Vihar Auditorium on Tuesday, Feb 25.
Anuroop Pathania Festival Director while addressing a press conference here today said that after the sucussful conclusion of its first leg in Jammu Nutan Pryaas Manch has taken the journey ahead in collaboration with Virsa Vihar Amritsar and Manch Rangmanch Punjab. Kewal Dhaliwal the legendary theatre actor and director of India who shared the dais with Anuroop said that since the young entrepreneurs are taking up the yeomen’s task single handedly, the theatre practitioners around India should support their endeavor with full might. “Jammu has always produced good quality theatre and there are many faces in Jammu who are nationally acclaimed. They should come forward to support this bunch of brave-hearts who have given theatre a tremendous idiom in their region,” said Kewal Dhaliwal.
Eight plays of different genre are going to be held in Amritsar schedule with Jammu’s Vikram Sharma’s play Vani_Dafan will be held on the opening day produced designed and directed by renowned Kajal Suri for Robroo New Delhi. More play from Jammu will also follow in the series.
Bansi Kaul another legend and renowned theatre personality will grace the opening session as the chief guest which is all likely to be witnessed by large number of people. Concluding Anuroop Pathania said that after its stint with Amritsar the Nutan International Theatre Festival 2020 will move ahead in its last leg to be finally concluded in Jaipur .
“This will not be the end of the story as efforts made afoot by us will keep rolling in a calendar form and we hope we will be able to give some of the quality works of thespians in the field of drama for large number of the people to witness.
