‘Heritage Walk’ to “Sohan Singh Attari Samadhi” and “Pull Kanjari”

Amritsar, Feb. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The students of Tourism and Travel Management of BBK DAV College for Women participated in the “Heritage Walk” of Amritsar with the Help of Mr. Balraj Singh, Deputy Director, Punjab Tourism Promotion Department. The “Heritage Walk” started from Town Hall covering ‘Saragarhi Sahib’, ‘Ahluwalia Katra’, ‘Guru Bazar’, ‘Saugal Walla’ Akhada and other Heritage Places. After the walk the group of 30 students also visited other unknown tourist places like “Sohan Singh Attari Samadhi” and “Pull Kanjari”. The senior tourist guide of Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board Mr. D.S. Chawla duly escorted the tour and provided the Relevant Historical information about these Places. Assistant Professor Ms. Preeti Sharma & Assistant Professor Dilkirin Kaur accompanied the group for the excursion. Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra thanked Punjab Tourism Department for their support and appreciated the students for their efforts and wished them good luck for future.
