Amritsar, Mar. 19 ( Punjab Post Bureau) – Amritsar based fashion designer and model; Simran Sehmi is debuting her Bollywood career with Bharat Shah’s movie ‘Black Home’. The film is set to released on March 20, 2015. Black Home is a social drama thriller film produced by Shri Vijay Kamble and co-produced by Mahesh R. Salunke under the banner Samajik Samata Manch Film Company. The film is written & directed by Ashish Deo. It’s a research based film inspired by true incidents with lot of information from media, news papers and real life interviews of Remand Home girls to understand the intensity of the subject. The music for the film is scored by Akshay Hariharan and lyrics are penned by Sahil Sultanpuri. Simran used to cherish herself as a fashion designer but fate played its cards and now she is going to rock the celluloid with one of the best cast, director and producer. Besides working as a model in Mumbai; Simran got her acting lessons from Aashish Newalkar. Simran also worked with writer director Ashish Deo further paving her wave into the industry. Ashish Deo offered and inspired Simran to work in ‘Black Home’. She is playing the role of a Journalist in this movie.
Simran’s mother Mohinerjit and father Rupinder Singh today paid obeisance at Golden Temple and prayed for their daughter’s success. Her father also informed that he Simran always dreamt for big and when she got selected as Miss North India, Miss NIFD & Miss Punjab he was sure to see her daughter working in Bollywood.
