Motivational Seminar by University Scholar on ‘Entrepreneurship’

Amritsar, Mar. 24 (Punjab Post Bureau) – An interactive and motivational seminar on “Entrepreneurship” was organized at CKD Institute of Management and Technology (CKDIMT).The key resource person was Professor Dr. Jaspal Singh from Guru Nanak Dev University who has more than 25 years of professional experience in the management field. The expert made students aware about various prospects in the field of entrepreneurship. He advocated that strong vision, mission, passion, positive attitude, risk factor, social responsibility and other management traits are the skills required to become a successful entrepreneur.

Dr. Jaspal further explained that to benefit his organization it is important for the entrepreneur to learn and assign the right people for the right jobs. Dr. Singh also emphasized that the entrepreneur should be willing to venture and do some revolutionary work in the market by undertaking calculated risks.

Earlier, Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Principal while welcoming the University Expert on behalf of CKD President, S. Charanjit Singh Chadha said that entrepreneurial skills promise good opportunities both in job and career. We should invest our time in making passionate efforts to achieve set goals in our life, he said.

Dr. Baljinder Singh, Member-Incharge in his presidential remarks highlighted that element of optimism should be there in the passion because passion is a virtue which is prime requirement to achieve success in our life. Students can shape their personalities according to the guidance given by Dr. Jaspal Singh, he said.
