Er. Daljit Singh Kohli elected President of Amritsar Vikas Manch

Amritsar, 11 May (Punjab Post Bureau) – A meeting of General house of Amritsar Vikas Manch was held under the president ship of Principal Kulwant Singh Ankhi. Hon’ble Prof. Mohan Singh S. Manmohan Singh Brar. Er. Daljit Singh Kohli, Hardeep Singh Chahal, Nirmal Singh Anand, Gurdial Singh Mohawa, Michel Rahul, Nishan Singh, S. Lakhbir Singh Ghuman, Gurmit Singh Bhatti, S. Tarsem Singh, Manjit Singh Saini, Kuldip Singh and other members joined the meeting.

After discussing problems relating to the site of IIM at Amritsar, setting up of AIIMS at Amritsar and establishment of Solid Waste Management Plant at a proper place, the house elected unanimously Er. Daljit  Singh Kohli as President of Amritsar Vikas Manch (AVM) for the next term. He was also authorised to form the executive body of AVM. Er. Daljit Singh Kohli thanked all the members of general house and promised to carry AVM on the path of progress. He declared to put his & his team’s full energy to solve the problems of Amritsar city regarding proper site of IIM, establishment of AIIMS at Amritsar, establishment of Solid Waste Management Plant at a proper place as per SWM rules 2000, traffic problem and a forestation in Amritsar.
