Amritsar, May 13 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Once again the girls of BBK DAV College for Women maintained their previous record of meritorious positions in Guru Nanak Dev University results, 2015.The students of Department of Multimedia, BBK DAV College for Women, have again brought laurels to the institution by bagging meritorious positions.
In Bachelor of Multimedia IIIrd Semester, Navraj Kaur stood 1st in the University by scoring 651/700 marks. Rumika Sharma stood 2nd in the university by scoring 649/700 marks. Simerpreet Chawla stood 3rd in the university by scoring 646/700 marks. Sonakshi Malhotra stood 5th in the university by scoring 640/700 marks.
Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra felicitated the students and motivated them to maintain the good work in future as well. She also appreciated the work done by Faculty of Multimedia for putting a lot of effort along with the students. Mr. Sanjeev Sharma Head of the department and staff members also applauded the efforts of the students and encouraged them to work hard with dedication.
Dept of Multimedia is running Bachelor of Multimedia, a four year degree in Multimedia, Masters of Multimedia and a skill oriented degree Bachelor of Vocation in Entertainment Technology and new course with the aim to train students for Films, television and web media. The Dept. got a special grant from UGC to run this course and has state of the art labs and equipment for the students. Students trained will be facilitated for the jobs opportunities in industry. All the faculty to train the students have been hired from Entertainment Industry.
