Joint Campus Placement Drive by Tommy Hilfiger

Amritsar, Apr. 12 ( Punjab Post Bureau)-  In its move to provide quality placements to the Management students of this regionCKD Institute of Management & Technology (CKDIMT) organized a Joint Campus Placement Drive for TOMMY HILFIGER on  April,10. Over 250 students of MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Sc(IT),B.Com(Prof) of Batch passing out in 2014 from CKDIMT and other colleges such as Khalsa College, Khalsa College for Women, DAV College, Hindu College, S. R. Govt. College, S.S.S.S. College of Amritsar participated in the processThe selection process started with Pre Placement Talk followed by Group Discussion and Final Interview. Top company officials Mr. Manpreet Singh Dhody, AREA MANAGER North Punjab and Mr. Bharat, AREA MANAGER Chandigarh, addressed the students. In the final round, 5 students including 4 students from CKDIMT namely Ms. Khushubu Malik, Ms. KrishmaBatra, Ms. PalakMehra and Ms.Saniya Arora were selected at an attractive Salary Package of 3 Lacs PA.The Company Officialstold that they choose only One Institute in the City for placement drive and they have come for the first time in Amritsar for Placement process.  Tommy Hilfiger is known for quality since 1985 and offers beautiful designed, high quality products including men’s and women’s apparels, sportswear and a wide variety of products such as accessories and fragrances. S. Charanjeet Singh Chadha, President CKD said, “We are very happy with the response that we have got from the placement drive. The students will be able to choose the right career based on the exposure they get. This would go a long way in helping them to have proper careers. Such aggregation of jobs help both the student community as well as recruiters besides reducing the time and cost involved in hiring.” The President CKD, S. Charanjeet Singh JiChadda, Hon.Secratary, Mr. Narinder Singh Khurana and Principal, Dr. H.S. Sandhu, Principal, CKDIMT said “The overwhelming response we have received from corporate as well as students for the joint campus placement drive at CKDIMT  is an indication of the opportunities and talent that exist in the educational institutions.”  The whole session was a huge success due to the endless efforts put by the Institute’s Head-Corporate Relations and Placements Mr. Paramjit Singh Makkar, who believes in the overall growth of the students.With his sincere efforts and contribution he always encourages the students to participate in such events and continues to bring such opportunities for the college students. The institute is also planning to organize a Mega Job Fest in which more than 500 job opportunities would be available in leading MNC Companies for the students of Region.
