DAV University Holds Counselling at DAV Public School

Amritsar, July 13 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The prestigious DAV University, Jalandhar held a counselling session / on – the – spot admission for the 10+2 pass out students today at DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar under the expert supervision of Sh. J.P. Shoor ji, Director PS(I) and Aided schools and able guidance of the Regional Director Amritsar Zone Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra, Principal BBK DAV College for Women. The upcoming DAV University- the Nalanda of the Modern World, has created a niche for itself within a few years under the futuristic vision of Arya Ratan Sh. Punam Suri ji, the Chancellor of the University. The counselling was conducted for admissions in various fields like Agriculture Sciences, Basic / Applied Sciences, Engineering & Technology, Management and Commerce, Languages, Media, Social Science, Physical Education and many more. The counselling session received an overwhelming response from the students from across the region.  Many students took admission to various courses in the university. With its state-of-art infrastructure and excellent faculty, the DAV University has collaborated with Ukraine for research in ‘Spintronics’ for developing more sophisticated memory devices. The University has created many benchmarks in the field of sports also. The students showed a lot of interest in the innovative career options provided by the university and curiously enquired about the same. Admission process will remain available in DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar from 13^th July 2015 onwards also.
