Congress Used Manmohan Singh as `Puppet’ and `murdered’ the Democracy- Majithia

Amritsar, April 14, 2014 ( Punjab Post  Bureau)- Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia today accused Congress party and Gandhi family for `using’ Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh as `Puppet’ and `murdered’ democratic traditions of the country. He said Gandhi family and Congress prefer the Royal King like Captain Amarinder Singh, party’s candidate for Amritsar Lok Sabha seat, whomhe considered also as a puppet being used by Sonia Gandhi whose only goal is to pursue personal interests of the family at the cost of  country’s development and democracy. Majithia who welcomed more Congress men who left the party and joined Shiromani Akali Dal (B) at village the Bagga and Kazikot in Majithaconstituency today said the SAD-BJP Alliance had always maintained that PM was a puppet in the hands of the Gandhi family. “Our stand is vindicated by revelations made in the book of PM’s former Media Advisor Sanjay Baru who has described in his book how the PM had little saying in the PMO and every file was sent to Sonia Gandhi. If this is not murder of democracy then what is it?, asked Majithia. He said PM was just a face of the UPA government and like puppet he was dancing to the tunes of Sonia Gandhi who was the real decision maker.

He accused Gandhi for ignoring the interests of the state of Punjab and how the state suffered in the hands of UPA for its discriminatory policies on industrialization, waiving of farmers’ loans and others. He said the ay the UPA government was running for the last 10 years was unconstitutional, undemocratic and even immoral. He said the people of the country realizes that what the Gandhi family has done would be written as black chapter in the modern history of  the country. He attacked captain and said people will not give him support and the  wave was in favour of SAD-BJP candidate and senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley.
