Visits personally to monitor the ongoing work
Amritsar, August 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, alogwith the Revenue Minister of Punjab Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, today visited the Bhagtan wala wastage dump and ordered to revamp it in next 2 months by constructing 10 feet high boundary around 15 acre dump besides using the scientific ways to process to large scale wastage.
Taking a serious note of the problems faced by the residents of adjoining area, the Deputy Chief Minister has ordered the Commissioner of Municipal corporation Mr. Pardeep Shabharwal to personally monitor the ongoing construction of boundary wall besides ensuring the timely completion of 4 laning road leads to dump. Mr. Badal has also said that he would personally review this project alongwith other major development projects of the holy city.
The Deputy Commissioner Mr. Ravi Bhagat, Police Commissioner Jatjinder Singh aulakh, Senior Deputy Mayor Avtar Singh, District president of Sharomani Akali Dal (Urban) Upkar Singh Sandhu, Gurpartap Singh Tikka, Navdeep Singh Goldi and Councellor Group Leader Surinder Singh Sultanwind, Chairman Market Committee Gurpreet Randhawa, Shamsher Singh Shera, Lakhbir Singh Moni Hunadal Verka, Amritspal Singh Babblu were also present on the occasion.
