DAV Public Principal Honoured with the State Award by Punjab Government

Amritsar, Aug. 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  Arya Ratan Sh. Punam Suri President DAV CMC, New Delhi showered his choicest blessings on Dr. Neera Sharma Principal DAV Public School, Lawrence Road, Amritsar for being honoured with the State Award on 15^th August, 2015.

It was a proud moment for the school , as the Punjab Government honoured the Principal of the school Dr.Neera Sharma with the prestigious State Award on the eve of 69^th Independence Day celebrations held at Gandhi Ground,  Amritsar on 15^th August , 2015. The award was conferred upon her  by the honourable Chief Minister of Punjab S.Parkash Singh Badal in recognition of the exemplary service rendered by her in the field of Social Service.  She received a citation , a cash award and a Gold Medal for her laudable services rendered for  spreading awareness and sensitising the masses on important social issues. The award celebrates and acknowledges the dedication and  hard work executed for the upliftment of  the society.

Regional  Director Amritsar  Zone  Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school  Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate also congratulated her for her dedicated services  to the society. They blessed her for her future endeavors and wished that the school achieves greater heights under her supervision.

Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school said that it was a proud moment for the whole DAV Fraternity and she is humbled to receive the award . She added that teaching is the most noblest of all professions and she was proud to be an educator and would always work for the betterment of the society.
