Dept. of Tourism & Biography organized Guest Lecture in BBK DAV College

Amritsar, 8 Sept. (Punjab Post Bureau) – Department of Tourism & Biography organized a Guest Lecture in BBK DAV College for Women. Mr. Ashwani Gupta, owner of Dove Travels and Chairman Environment Committee of Outbound Tour Operator Association of India (OTOAI) was the guest speaker who shared his insight, knowledge and expertise on “Overview and Working of Travel Agency Business”. He delivered lecture and acquainted the students with ticketing software used in ticketing like Amadeus, Galileo, Abacus and also give knowledge about Tour Packages both domestic and international as well as passport details and role of insurance before travelling. He also motivated the students to join IATA course and have up to date training. Students were really inspired & fascinated towards travel agency business. At the end, he wished all the students, who attended seminar, great success for their bright future ahead. HOD Mr. Naresh Kumar, Assistant Professor Mrs. Preeti Sharma, Mrs. Rupali Malhotra and Ms. Sumeer Kaur thanked him accepting the invitation for the guest lecture.
