Amritsar, Oct. 16 (Punjab post Bureau) – DAV International School celebrated the birthday of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. On this occasion, a special morning assembly was conducted in which the students of DAV International presented a play titled “Kalam Tujhe Salaam”, which highlighted the eventful life of this humble, hardworking and honest person. Principal Anjana Gupta in her address to the students remarked that UNO has declared the birthday of Abdul Kalam as World Students Day. She also told them Kalam was not only a great scientist but also a Poet, a Social Worker and a Learned Teacher and advised the students to take inspiration from the life of this great man.
