DAV International School organizes one day teaching skill development workshop

Amritsar, Oct. 17 (Punjab Post Bureau) –  In order to enhance the teaching capability of the teachers teaching III-V Grades, DAV International School conducted one day workshop on teaching skill development, under the guidance and tutelage of DAV CAE, New Delhi, on its premises today, 2015. As many as 24 teachers from various DAV Institutes across Amritsar zone participated in this workshop which was designed for Social science, Punjabi and Hindi subjects. In this workshop, Mrs. Lakhwinder Kaur and Mrs. Asha Rehan came over as the resource persons for Hindi; Mrs. Poonam Mahajan and Mrs. Jyoti Kaushal for Punjabi and Mrs. Shivani Bajwa and Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur were the resource persons for Social Science. The day commenced with floral welcome. After the traditional lamp lighting, DAV Gaan was presented by the young DAVIANS. Regional Director, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and Principal Anjana Gupta extended their good wishes to the participating teachers for the success of the workshop. They also showed their gratitude towards the DAV CAE for providing such type of opportunities to the teachers where they can interact and share their knowledge with each other while upgrading their own. The resource persons took the queries of the participants and provided suitable measures related to their subjects.
