Amritsar, Dec. 14 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Aiming to provide best training in communication skills for the students, DAV College Amritsar has launched its Skill Enhancement Centre today. The college is going to provide courses in International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Spoken English from second week of January 2016.
Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar said that the college has taken this initiative to impart training to college students as well as outside students. He expressed that the effective communication skills are needed for the employment in Government or Private sector, which is not available in the city yet. Prof Pardeep Celly, Coordinator of these Courses, informed that centre will provide two courses in IELTS and Spoken English. He mentioned that the duration of the courses will be 200 hours for IELTS and 60 hours for Spoken English. The special faculty members will take the session and the registration process for these courses has been started. The interested students can approach college enquiry for their registration.
