DAV Public Wins Gold Medal in CBSE National Skating Championship

Amritsar, Jan 5 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Rahul Rai of Std VII of  DAV Public School , Lawrence Road won a Gold Medal in 300 metre Rink Race I in CBSE National Roller Skating Championship held at Urmi School, Vadodara, Gujarat recently. As many as 700 participants from 13 states of India participated in this championship . The young skater also won a Silver Medal  in 300 metre Rink Race I and a Bronze Medal in 200 m Road Race  in 6^th National  Roller Skating  Championship organised by School  Games Federation of India held at Belgaum, Karnataka in December 2015.

Regional Director , Amritsar Zone , Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Karma and the Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar  Principal DAV College, Hathi Gate congratulated  the student  for his fabulous achievement. They asked him to keep up the good work and bring laurels to the school and his family.

Dr. Neera Sharma, Principal of the school applauded the efforts of the ace skater who has a dream to represent the country at the International level. She encouraged him to follow his dream and work hard to achieve it.
