DAV Students Outshined in the University Exams-2016

Amritsar, Aug. 9 (Punjab Post Bureau) – The students of DAV College Amritsar bagged various merit positions in the university examinations held in May 2016. In the recent results declared by the Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar, Tarun of BCA-Sem IV secured 323/400 marks and bagged first position in District and second position in GNDU. Varsha Rani of MSc( CS) Sem-II secured 439/600 and bagged Third position in District. Principal Dr Rajesh Kumar congratulated merit holders along with their proud parents. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that the college is proud of achievements of the students and motivated them to keep it up. He also applauded the efforts of PG Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and congratulated Dr Amardeep Gupta, Head of the Department and other faculty members of the Department. Prof Sunny Thukral also extended their heartiest congratulation to the students.
