International Award for DAV Public School Student

Amritsar, November 7 (Punjab Post Bureau) – A Painting Competition was organised by World Federation of Unesco Clubs and Association of India recently. An overwhelming participation was seen from all over India. The competition was based  on the theme ‘Children are painting the World Asia”. In this prestigious competition Kashvi Aggarwal of Std VI of DAV Public School, Lawrence Road bagged First Prize at the National level. Her painting was sent to Kazaks tan where her painting was one among others to compete at the International level. She was one of the finalists there and received an Award for her fabulous performance and creative ideas. Another student, Nishtha Pahwa of Std V cleared  level 1 screening at the National level and received a certificate for her brilliant effort. Regional Director, Punjab Zone – A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance. They advised them to follow their passion and excel in it for a bright future. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school said that it was a matter of pride for the school that the students have made a mark for themselves at the International level. She encouraged them for future endeavors.
