DAV Public School stands First in Debate

Amritsar, November 9 (Punjab Post Bureau)- DAV Public School Lawrence Road bagged First Prize in a Branch Level Debate Competition for students of Std XI & XII. The competition was organised by the Board of Studies, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India recently. As many as 10 schools from Amritsar district participated in it. The topic for the debate was ‘Debit Cards Vs Credit Cards’. Mansimranjot Kaur of Std XI (Arts) clinched First Prize  in the individual category and the School team comprising of Mansimranjot Kaur of Std XI and Manthan Takiar of XII Commerce bagged First position.  The team has been chosen for the Regional round which will be held at Chandigarh in the last week of November.

Regional Director Punjab Zone – A, Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the School, Dr. Rajesh  Kumar , Principal DAV College , Hathi Gate , Amritsar sent their blessings for the students for their future endeavors. Dr. Neera Sharma , Principal of the school congratulated the students. She said that participating in such competitions provides students with the much needed exposure and she was happy to see her students excelling in it.
