Overall Trophy for DAV Public School in Inter – School Science and Cultural Fair

Amritsar, November 21 (Punjab Post Bureau)- DAV Public School, Lawrence Road clinched the Overall Trophy in the Inter – School Science and Cultural Fair organised by Amritsar College of  Engineering and Technology held at the college campus  at Manawala. As many as 29 schools from Amritsar district participated in the Science and Cultural Fair. The competition was held among students under different categories like quiz, Model Making, Debate, Collage Making , Junkyard,  Extempore etc. 28 students of DAV Public School  participated in all these categories and earned appreciation  of the judges for their team work,  knowledge , creativity and imagination. First Prize was bagged by Vikas Mehta of Std  XI (Science) and Ritanshu Arora of XI  Commerce in Working Model  presentation , Gauri Gupta and Ayush Choudhary of Std XII (Science) in Quiz Competition , Harleen Kaur and Srishti  in Collage Making , Karanpreet Singh of Std XI (Comm.) and Vikas Mehta of Std XI (Science) in Laughter Challenge . Second prize was won by Gauri Gupta in Group Discussion, Vikas Mehta and Ritanshu Arora in Junkyard and  Ribhav Kundra and Manisha Sharma of Std XII (Comm.) in Debate. The efforts of the students were also appreciated in other events like Chess , Essay Writing ,  Poster Making , Extempore and Group discussion. Regional Director , Punjab Zone – A Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam  Kamra and the Manager of the school, Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar congratulated the students for their brilliant performance. They  applauded the school for providing the students with a platform to realise their potential. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school encouraged the students to participate in different  activities for their overall development and blessed them for future endeavors.
