DAV Public School wins One Gold & One Silver in CBSE North Zone- II Skating

Amritsar, November 22 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Two students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road  brought laurels to the school by winning one Gold and  one Silver Medal in CBSE North Zone II Skating  Championship held at BDS School, Ajnala recently.  Rahul Rai of Std VIII bagged Gold Medal in 500 mts. race in U – 14 ( Boys) and Alamjot Singh Dhillon  of  Std X  won Silver Medal in 300 mts race in  U – 17 ( Boys) category. Both the students have been selected for CBSE National Skating  Championship that will be held at DAV International school Amritsar in December 2016.

Regional Director  Punjab Zone – A , Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Kamra and the Manager of the School and Dr. Rajesh Kumar Principal DAV College Amritsar appreciated the students for participating in a sport of their choice  and excelling in it. Dr. Neera Sharma Principal of the school , congratulated  the winners and blessed them for the national  skating championship . She said that she was happy to see the consistent efforts of the students and teachers which resulted in awards and recognition for them .
