DAV Public School Observes National Energy Conservation Day

Amritsar, December 14 (Punjab Post Bureau)- The students of DAV Public School Lawrence Road conducted a special assembly on National Energy Conservation Day. It is a day for building up awareness regarding need for energy conservation, energy efficiency and frugality in energy use. The students spoke about the importance of energy and its conservation and focussed on  to save it for future usage. They also talked about the measures which should be implemented to conserve energy as saving energy helps in reducing the pollution level. They enacted a role play and raised slogans like ‘Energy Saved, Future Saved which motivated everyone. In the end they pledged for the wholehearted commitment towards energy conservation. Regional Director Punjab Zone A Dr. Neelam Kamra and Manager of the school Dr. Rajesh Kumar appealed the students to use energy efficiently with optimum results. Dr.Neera Sharma, Principal of the school advised the students that spirit of conservation has to be instilled from a young age. Students have to be actively engaged in promoting conservation of resources to ensure a better tomorrow.
