Chhina Hails Modi for his post-Demonetization pro-Poor Announcements

Amritsar, January 1 (Punjab Post Bureau)- Punjab BJP state executive member and senior party leader Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina today hailed post-demonetization pro-poor announcements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said every section of society including downtrodden, farmers, women, senior citizens and small businesses would be immensely benefited from the announcements by Modi on the eve of new year-2017.

            In a press statement issued here, Chhina said the `thanksgiving address’ of Modi to the people narrated that the hardships they face after demonetization drive initiated would not go waste and would help in nation-building. He said the address is a welcome step as it has cleared apprehensions regarding putting the banks on radar to help the normal flow of cash in the market. He said the demonetization was a surgical operation carried to check black money, counterfeited currency and stopping funds for the terrorists.

“Apart from this, if the economy is to meet the challenges of the new economic world order, there is need that the cash flow decreasing and the nation adopting the modern way of digital transactions’’, said Chhina adding that the days were not far when the country would be face to face with `clean economy’ by overcoming black money. He also praised Modi’s courageous offer to all political parties to sit together and find ways to bring transparency in election funding and conducting assembly and parliamentary elections simultaneously to save money and time. He said the announcements of interest reduction for housing for urban and rural poor, enhancement of credit limits for small traders and shopkeepers, would bring new life into the business. He said building a home in rural and urban area by the people belonging to lower middle class would now be easier due to reduction in housing loans and farmers would be benefited from 60-day interest waiver for agricultural loans.
