Solo Art Exhbition of Karuna Mohindra’s Landscape Paintings at Kt:Kala Kendra on Jan. 20

Amritsar, January 18 (Punjab Post Bureau) – KT:Kalã is going to organise an art exhibition “Journey Through Forests” of Karuna Mohindra a senior artist from Ludhiana.

Mrs. Jasmit Nayyar, Ex. DPI (Colleges) Punjab, Ex Principal, S.R. Government College for Women, Amritsar and Dr. Baldev Gambhir, Eminent Artist will inaugurate the exhibition on 20^th January 2017 at 04.30 p.m. at KT:Kalã Kendra, Lawrence Raod, Opposite Nayyar Hospital in presence of Shri Rajesh Raina, Secretary KAUSA Trust, Mr. Dinesh Mohindra and many other dignitaries.

In a press release Mr. Brijesh Jolly said that The artist is highly qualified and run her own art gallery in Ludhiana. Karuna Mohindra has received many honours like, All India Award from Virsa Vihar Amritsar. State Award from Indian Academy of Fine Arts Amritsar and many more.

Recently she has visited South Indian states and painted the beauty of nature on canvas in acrylic colours. This exhibition is a good platform for the budding artists of the city to have a look on the beautiful landscapes as the artist has shown a good command on perspective, light and shade with bold and bright strokes, said Mr. Jolly.
