Pool Campus Drive Held at DAV College Amritsar

Amritsar, March, 10  (Punjab Post Bureau) –  The Placement and Training cell of the DAV College conducted a placement drive in which renowned company Amazon was invited for the Pool Campus Drive. The placement drive was organized for graduates and post graduates of various Colleges and Universities across Punjab. The team of five recruiters headed by Mr Aniket, HR Manager of Amazon conducted the drive to select eligible candidates for the post of Customer Service Support (email, voice and chat). About 37 students were selected in this drive by the Amazon Company with the salary package of Rs 2, 10,000 to 2, 30, 000 besides incentives. Among these selected students, 19 students were selected from DAV College Amritsar. Dr. Rajesh Kumar appreciated the efforts of placemnt cell headed by Dr Amardeep Gupta, In charge of the Placement Cell and Head Department of Computer Science &Information Technology, College Administrator Dr Daizy Sharma, Dr Laxmikant, Dr Kamal Kishore, Prof Arif Nazir for organizing such drives in the college and for providing opportunities to the students to earn their livelihood.

Dr. Amardeep Gupta, Incharge of the Placement Cell and Head department of Computer Science & IT congratulated the students who got selected during the placement drive.  He also informed that during this academic session, various companies like Tech Mahindra, Concentrix, AON, TCS Ignite and DHFL also visited the college campus and selected students from the different streams.
