Seminar on Misuse of Social Mass Communication

Jalandhar, April 12 (Punjab Post Bureau)- A seminar cum interaction on misuse of social mass communication facilities for anti national activities and its remedial measures, between officers of Armed Forces and IAS/IPS officers was conducted at Jalandhar Cantonment on 11 and 12 April. The event was inaugurated by Major General Balwinder Singh, Chief of Staff, Vajra Corps with Shri PK Sinha, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Jalandhar in attendance. Several eminent speakers which included Brigadier (Retired) Gurmeet Kanwal (Defense Analyst), Ms Shruti Pandalai (Defense Analyst), Mr. Rakshit Tandon (Cyber Security Expert), Prof (Dr)  Sanjay Modi, (Executive Dean  LPU), Prof (Dr.) Lovi Raj Gupta (Executive Dean ,LPU) and Colonel Raj Kumar (Social Media Expert)  interacted with the participants on the various aspects of social media and its impact on society, national security and Security Forces.
